Depositing and liquidating shares of unregistered OTC securities can be a complex process. This complexity demands an expertise that most broker-dealers cannot provide. Our experienced team is here to guide you through this complexity – from account opening through legal review and trading.
Account Opening
Contact one of our customer service representatives at cs@scottsdalecapital.com, and we will assist you in opening an account. We seek to develop a comprehensive understanding of our clients’ needs so that, together, we can foster a productive working relationship. Once your account application has been submitted and approved, our customer service team will familiarize you with the deposit process so that you may submit your initial stock deposits.
Legal Review
Scottsdale Capital Advisors must have transaction documentation sufficient to verify the free-trading status of deposited shares. The documentation required may vary depending on the nature of the transaction. Our customers interface directly with our legal review team during the legal review period, ensuring our customers are guided efficiently through the process. Once all of the requisite information has been provided, our legal review team will submit the deposit for final approval and forward it to our clearing firm for processing.
Trading
After the stock deposit has been processed by our clearing firm, you will receive a ready to trade email allowing you to begin liquidating your position in the open market. Orders must be called in directly to our trading desk at 480-603-4927. Trading OTC securities can present unique considerations for the investor. Our three traders have, collectively, over 60 years of industry experience, and can provide deep insight into the complex nature of trading illiquid securities.
